A student driven event, the Annual Spaghetti Feed, Raffle and Auction helps ISU College of Pharmacy students raise money to fund a variety of rural community patient-centered outreach projects, for which ISU College of Pharmacy students have received national recognition. This year we will be raising money to support wish children like 16-year-oldLogan. Logan enjoys the outdoors, sports, and video games. In February 2017,
Logan was diagnosed with cerebral cavernous malformations after suffering from a stroke. Immediately after his diagnosis, Logan had surgery to remove a golf ball sized malformation. These malformations are genetic and cause blood vessels to grow in the brain. They require brain surgery to remove, and at this time, there is no cure. Logan is currently undergoing therapy to strengthen his left side and working hard to recover. Up to 20% of our proceeds will be donated to Logan's
wish to play golf on a PGA course in Hawaii. Prior to the event, the pharmacy student outreach organizations will be available to answer questions and provide a variety of free health screenings. Tickets may be purchased at the door the night of the event.
